Mexican Plateau horned lizard

This is a species of horned lizard which comes from Mexico,has some crazy characteristics such as spilling blood from it's eyes and is in danger of disappearing because of agriculture,urbanization and sheepherding,among some reasons. I did it on Adobe Illustrator and i'm trying to improve my lights and shadows,since the animal is quite complex making it into a toon version was quite difficult.
